Usually in groups of 3 or so at a time. Male, Female, Rich or Poor is what makes up a legend tripper group. Thrill seekers for one, and possibly aspiring future ghost hunters of the world. Although this activity can be very exciting and rewarding, we must give a list of Do's and Don'ts for anyone seeking to be involved with this type of group. Please read below and use common sense at all times when investigating.
Never, Never Trespass. Always get permission, if you can't get permission, then you don't go. The penalty for trespassing includes fines of up to $700 and Jail time. If a place has signs posted, listen to them, or prepare to be making a call to your parents in the middle of the night to come pick you up at the police station.
Go in the day time to look over the area to investigate. A dry run is very important to look out for dangerous spots for trips, slips and falls that could happen in the dark. Saftey is #1.
Never go alone as a dare. Always go in a group of two or more. The old saying is true about there is safety in numbers.
Take a good flash light, with strong batteries. A cell phone, and a good pair of comfortable shoes. A camera is a good idea to document any strange things that may happen. Pen and paper isn't a bad thing to have either.
Always be curteous and respect all area's that your friends are investigating. DO NOT vandalize or remove ANYTHING! You will ruin it for future Legend Trippers that come after you. Use your brain. Doing anything illegal will get you busted.
